As a school we want our students to reflect on their service, to gain understanding about people’s lives, and to witness how our society does and doesn’t take care of its most vulnerable members. We are focused on Catholic Social Teaching, social justice and the role that each of us plays to bring it about in our world. Pastoral Care
Pastoral care and spiritual direction are available for all students and their parents through the school chaplain, Fr. William Heroic. Remembering daily to “take care of one another” is the responsibility of every member of the EC school community; students, faculty, staff and parents.
Pastoral Care Program
Pastoral care is a free service provided by Catholic Community Services. It is an important element of care that endeavors to prevent social exclusion, to support the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our clients through a ministry of presence and companionship within the philosophy of our mission and values as an organization.
The service is available to all those requiring support regardless of their faith tradition as well as to those who have no allegiance to a particular faith or religious belief. Catholic Community Services recognizes we are a culturally diverse society and that a person’s spirituality or modes of worship can be expressed through a diverse array of customs and practices.
